We currently have an immediate full-time position opening for Test Support Technician located in City of Industry, California.

 

Job Summary

 

This position supports all internal and external product testing and reports to the Quality Engineering Manager. The technician is responsible for product quality, achieving product testing goals, and performing product testing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to the Quality Engineering department
  • Follow Quality Management System documents (ISO0991:2000)
  • Provides International Customer Service parts support
  • Test new components for system compatibility
  • Report engineering anomalies and change requests
  • Develop and distribute technical support bulletins
  • Assist engineers in building and testing prototype systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical subsystems and report findings to Quality Engineering
  • Assist in performing component research for new projects

Qualifications

  • Experience in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to use standard electrical test and measurement equipment, e.g. DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
  • Knowledge of x-ray imaging systems a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Competent in communicating in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to present, teach, and instruct individuals and groups
  • Skilled in gathering information, assessing needs, problem solving, reasoning, and implementation skills
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and disciplined to follow up
  • Pushing and moving objects up to 50 lbs

Education/Experience:

  • A.S. in electrical, electronics, computer systems, or software/computer programming
  • 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
